Division
of International Studies
The mission of the Division of International
Studies is to catalyze UW-Madison efforts to educate
globally-competent professionals and citizens through
cutting-edge teaching and research, and outreach
to partners on campus, around the state and the world. The

College
of Letters & Science
The International Institute is a joint
venture with the College of Letters & Science and the
Division of International Studies. The College of
Letters and Science is by far the largest academic
unit and most academically diverse college of the
University of Wisconsin-Madison. The College includes
not only several dozen academic departments but also
four professional schools and scores of interdisciplinary
and support programs, institutes, and museums.
